VK Original Story: First Day of School Ch.3 Part 2

This moment was one of those times when Zero likes blowing into a room.

"Who the hell is this!" Zero yelled.

“This is Kamie Caina, a new student of the Day Class and your new partner. Isn't she adorable!" said headmaster Cross in a high voice.

"I don't need or want a new partner especially a weak little girl like her!" Zero spit out the last words staring at me with intense violet eyes that looked like there was a flame behind them, a flame of hate. He walked out the room. I remember seeing his back blurry from the tears but I didn’t know I was crying until I felt something wet on my cheeks. The last thing I remembered hearing was the headmaster calling for Zero before I broke down crying and then blacked out from all the shock.

When I came to I was laying down on a bed in a room I never saw before and a girl with sandy short hair and brown eyes sitting on the bed across from the one I was laying on. "Are you up?", she asked. "Um, yes I am thanks...." "Oh I'm Sayori Wakaba but my friends call me Yori, I'm your roommate." She said with a smile on her face, seeing the question in my eyes. "Hey I'm Kamie Caina but you probably know that already. How long have I been out?" She looked at me with a serious face, "A couple of hours Zero must of been pretty hard on you but don't take it personal, he acts like that to everyone. You'll get use to him." She gave me a smile and walked out of the room.

The next morning...........

The next day was school day. Yay. I was so not ready for that. I kept thinking what if Zero's there? What am I gonna do if he's there I have to be introduced to the whole class. Oh Lord help me now.

Yori had left a couple minutes ago because she wanted to get to class early so I stayed in bed for a couple of minutes hoping it was all a dream and that I would wake up soon. When I realized it wasn't a dream I got up to get dressed, pulling the suit coat on, then the shirt, tie the necktie, then putting my skirt,socks,shoes on, then buckling my buttons and strapping my Lunar Staff under my sleeve. The outfit was nice there was just alot of buttons and they got on my nerves sometimes. Grabbing my books I headed out. I noticed there was a lot of trees surrounding the school, a beautiful marble water fountain, and another building: The Moon Dorm where the vampires stay.

  I finally got to class a couple minutes later, all the kids were in groups talking to their friends. I saw Yori sitting down by herself so I went to go talk to her. "Why are you by yourself Yori and not with everyone else?" I asked her. "Because their talking about the Night Class. I'm not a big fan of them." She said with a serious tone. "What's so special about the Night Class their just a bunch of vampires?" I whispered to her. "Because not everyone knows that they are." She said. Ooooh so that explains why everyone's head-over-heels for them.

  The bell rang and the teacher came in.

  “Hello, my name's Kaito Takamiya and I will be your teacher for now on.” He said it with sort of a bored look. He was handsome, Sandy hair color, Brown eyes, late teens early 20's maybe. He was tall and lean. He reminded me of somebody I knew but I couldn't put a finger on it.

  “It seems we have a new student among us. Kamie Caina will you please come to the front of the class.” He looked around looking for me. I got out of my seat and walked down the stairs, my palms were sweating, I felt exposed, I felt like a wild animal being forced into a corner. “Please introduce yourself Kamie.” “I'm Kamie Caina. I'm a new student here at Cross Academy, Im pleased to be here, I can't wait to meet you all.” I smiled nervously, all the kids were whispering amongs themselves. This is gonna be a long year.
Thank you Kamie, you may return to your desk. I sat back down, Yori leaned over, “That was very good Kamie, you were calmer then most of us when we were new.” “Thanks.” I said with a shaky voice.

An hour later......

     
  Class had ended, finally, I had never been bored in my whole entire life has I had today. He was emotionless through the whole day. The whole time I was wondering who he reminded me of and I still haven't figured it out. Who can it be? Hmmm? I KNOW! I got it!

  Zero Kiryu. That’s who. Their exactly the same: Emotionless, same bored look, same bored tone. They could be like twins!

  Speaking about the devil. Uh. HE was their, waiting, in the hallway, across the door to the left, the guy who I despised but loved at the same time. Zero. He must be waiting for me so we could do the cross over. Wait, now that I think about it I didn't see him in class the entire hour and we have class together. He must of skipped class, I'm surprised Headmaster Cross didn't make him go to class. Whatever its none of my business.

  “Are you just gonna stand there the whole day? We do have a job if you didn't know.” Zero said sarcastically. “Hey, I am the queen of sarcasm and I did not give you permission to use it. And no I'm not gonna stand here the whole day Mr.Sarcasm.” I said then starting to walking towards the Moon dorm.

  I opened the door and I looked above the trees and saw the sun going down. “We better hurry before the gate starts getting crowded by a bunch of vampire loved fangirls.” “So you've seen the way they are have you Miss Newbie.” “Actually I have, in class, of course you would know this if you showed up for class, but yes their like a bunch of starving people who have seen meat in a billion years.” I said with a wide eyed face. “Well I wouldn't exactly word it like that but ya close enough, now hurry up and lets go.”

We passed the water fountain, the sunset was reflected off of the water, the marble was a light gray, you could see all the dark rock minerals in it.

We got there after a few minutes, and I was right, almost all the day class girl population was there and more were arriving. “Okay so its simple all you have to do is keep all these annoying girls in check, make sure they don't get close to the vampires okay. If you actually do your job right this should go quickly.” He said with a serious face and walked to the other group of girls, “Okay listen you brats! If you make on little step towards the Night Class, you'll be sorry!” All the girls looked scared and lined but in rows. So thats how you do it then.

“Okay ladies, I'm Kamie and I'll be the new Prefect okay, I'm not gonna be as, rude, as Zero but if you cause me any problems I'm gonna have to show my bad side, and its not a pretty picture just ask Zero he knows.” I said with a wink, “okay now you see those girls over there”, I pointed to Zero's side, “can you fill up like that and there should be no problems, please.” They all got in rows like Zeros group, then I heard, “Kyaa! Kyaa!” every where and I turned and the Night class was coming out, they were all beautiful, they had the aura of highness and power and not of this world look, but I knew the truth they worn't all like that, some were savage creatures, that prayed on innocent people, that craved blood and would do anything for it. I knew the truth, only if these people did too.

A boy with short blonde hair and shining blue eyes, was in the front waving to all the girls, blowing them air kisses and calling them pretty and beautiful. And then he spotted me. He came almost skipping to me, “So who are you, my new beautiful wild flower?” “I'm Kamie...Caina..and you are?” “I am Hanabusa Aido, nice to meet you.” He said with a 'sexy' smile and reached for my hand, “Touch me and I'll bite your hand off.” I said in an angry whispered tone. “We have a feisty one don't we.” A tall boy with wild light orange hair and amber colored eyes came behind him, “Hanabusa leave her alone and lets go.” He said in a bored voice, “you don't want the other Prefect comes and gets mad.” Aido wined, “Aww come own Akatsuki, your no fun, HE isn't gonna do anything anyways. Well then, fine. I'll be back to win over your heart Caina.” He said looking at me then they both walked away.

After them another boy came out, he had strange blue hair and smoky gray eyes. He was different from the other two boys, he was nodding to all the girls, say, “Hello ladies” and “Hello ma'am” to individual girls who screamed out his name. And they all wore the same uniform but some how his looked classy almost, like Akatsuki who wares his suit coat and shirt exposed. He had a totally different air to himself.

He was walking forward near where I was standing, “Hello, are you new here? I've never seen you around.” “Um yes, I'm Kamie Caina please to meet you.” I said with a shy smile, wait what!? I never shy smile. This boy, I feel strangely calm and light headed around him . “I'm Brandon, just Brandon, no last name. I'll be seeing you around.” He said with a sweet smile, a wink then left. I felt bubbly, I felt like laughing for no apparent reason. I was trying to hold the giggles in. Zero looked at me from where he was standing, looking at me as if I've gone crazy, I felt like I have.

A couple more people from the Night class passed, whispering and looking at me. They soon walked off to their class. After the door closed all the girls started leaving. And me and Zero stayed where we were to make sure all them were heading to the dorm and not sticking around.

I stayed where I was, half watching the girls leave and half thinking about Brandon. Every time my thoughts lingered on him, I had that sudden urge to laugh, then I'd smile, then I could feel my cheeks heating up. What was it about him the made me feel this way. His hair was definitely a strange color, his eyes, were captivating, they were smoky and- “Okay, we usually spit at the point but since your a newbie, you'll be patrolling with me. Keep up.” He said walking towards me interrupting my thoughts. “Okay.”

We started walking to the top of the Moon dorm. “Zero, I, um, I'm sorry for barging in to Cross Academy, I didn't know you wouldn't want me here. But just because you don't like me doesn't mean I'm gonna back off and run out on this place. Headmaster Cross invited me over and I'm not gonna let him down, and I'm not gonna leave these people here with vampires.” We had gotten to the top by now and I was pacing back and forth, I was coming back around when he stopped in front of me, good thing I had fast reflexes or I would of bumped into him. I span around and stepped back. “Do you ever stop talking.” He said in a serious voice, putting his eyes full force on me, then he said looking around, “look, I shouldn't of acted that way either, but I'm not gonna go easy on you either okay, just do your job and don't cause me any problems okay?.” “Um, ya, and Zero, thank you for allowing me to be your partner, even though you didn't have much say in it, your still letting me stay here. I appreciate it.” I said looking up at him and smiling and he just looked back at me.

And that was my first day at Cross Academy and I've loved every second of my stay here since then.
